# Currencies and Fees

## Gold

The platform operates using Gold, an internal stable unit of account. \
You use gold for every action involving a monetary expense, such as purchasing shares of players.

You can earn Gold by selling the players' shares you own.

#### Deposit/Withdraw

The value of gold is equal to the USDT that you deposit on the platform.

Each USDT deposit is displayed as an equivalent amount of gold.

The same logic applies when you withdraw your gold in USDT.

### Fees

The in-game marketplace features a fixed base rate of 5% per trade. \
Additionally, in order to protect users' portfolios from huge volatility spikes, a **dynamic fee system** is in place:

* When a user tries to sell a large chunk of a player supply at once, a dynamic fee is applied to the transaction based on the ratio between the amount he wants to sell and the available circulating supply.
* When a player's price experiences a sudden drop of more than a certain threshold, a time-controlled dynamic fee kicks in to reduce further selling pressure and mitigate potential panic-selling.

The platform will always notify the user of the fees in place and how much they would be paying in fees if they were to execute the transaction. Specifically, here's a breakdown of the Dynamic Fees structure:

| Price Drop (5 min) | Sell Fee | Min. Duration |
| ------------------ | ------------- | ------------- |
| <10% | 5% (Standard) | |
| ≥ 10% | 7% | 5 minutes |
| ≥ 20% | 10% | 25 minutes |
| ≥ 30% | 15% | 1 hour |
| ≥ 40% | 20% | 4 hours |

Collected fees are used to sustain platform operations, operate players' share buyback, and expand the pool of available features.

### Slippage Fees

As our market structure operates on a Standard x\*y=k AMM logic, similar to Uniswap v2, users will be subjected to Slippage.

Slippage is what happens when you're trying to complete a transaction, but someone else fills their own before yours goes through, actively changing the execution price of yours.

When executing a trade on the platform, you'll be prompted to select a **Slippage Tolerance**, which is the price range % you're willing to accept on your trade. If the price falls out of range, the transaction will be reverted.

## Tennis Points

Tennis Points (TP) are earned based on your positioning and performances in Weekly Tournaments. \
TP is used to open Player Crates.
