# Trading Players

Players are the core asset of the platform and your only way in to start your ProTennis.fun adventure. 

The Market Page is where the magic happens. You can:

* Check the overall market statistics
* Track the price performance of all the players and discover trending picks
* Buy and sell your shares

Keep in mind, there are flat [fees](https://protennis.gitbook.io/docs/currencies-and-fees#fees) when purchasing or selling players' shares.

## How Do I Buy My Shares?

### Visit the Market Page

Select the player that you are interested in.\
You're not fully sure yet of your pick? Click on them to see an advanced breakdown of their performances, but in the courts and on the markets.

### Click Buy or Sell

Press **Buy or Sell** to open the trading modal.

### **Enter your amounts**

Select the amount of gold/shares you want to buy/sell.\
Set your [slippage tolerance](https://protennis.gitbook.io/docs/getting-started/currencies-and-fees). Check out the fees and the final amounts you will get.

### Confirm your trade

Click and execute your transaction. \
Please note that, as you're using a Privy Smart Wallet to execute your transactions in-app, you will **not** be prompted to authorize or complete a transaction, and once you click, it's final.
